No school on Monday, February 16th for Presidents Day!

Enjoy the long weekend—we’ll see everyone back on Tuesday.

On Friday, February 6, ten high schools from Oregon and Washington competed in Echo School District’s High School Knowledge Bowl! 🧠 This year marks Echo’s most attended Knowledge Bowl, featuring more than 100 students participating on 24 teams! This is Echo’s 5th competition this year, with others held by Walla Walla HS and DeSales, Hermiston, Richland and Connell, Columbia-Burbank and Echo.

There will be a regional playoff in Pasco during the first week of March to qualify for the Washington State Knowledge Bowl Competition, which will be held in Wenatchee on Saturday, March 21. Echo will compete against DeSales and the winner will advance to state. 🏆

High school students in the Echo School District prepare for the Knowledge Bowl during their lunch time two days a week, with an option to join junior high students during their lunch time preparation time as well.

A Junior High Knowledge Bowl will be held at Echo School on Friday, March 13th. Contact Mr. Cox for more information.
